Application

This series of high voltage soft starter is applicable in coal mine with explosive gas (such as methane) and coal dust which can be used in soft starting and soft stop of high voltage motor, rated three-phase ac voltage grade 10KV, 6KV, 3.3KV and rated current below 75A, 150A, 250A, 350A, 400A. This soft starting features low starting current, adjustable balanced starting speed, reliable and stable starting performances, little impact to power grid and power transmission equipment, which is the perfect alternate for traditional direct starter, delta starter, reactor starter, self-coupling reducing voltage starter, double speed starter, etc. This series can be widely used in equipments such as huge steel, oil and chemical industry, coal mine, sewage disposal plant, power plant, mining pump machine, fan and compressor, milling machine, conveyor belt.

Features

Thyristor valve group as main component in electric circuit, have features of advanced technology, reliable performance, modularization structure and modularization structure, easy maintenance. Adopting optical fiber transmitting technology to separate low and high voltage; adopting modern advanced digital signal disposal and system integration technology with excellent performance and high stability; adopting a series of prevention interventions having strong electromagnetic compatibility; adopting large size screen LCD display and membrane switch settings of the controller, easy to operate and favorable man-machine interface; adopting modularization design equipped with auxiliary orbit, mobile handcart, easy to pull out for maintenance.

Equipment composition: High voltage soft starter connected orderly with equipment composition to form one-drag-two and one-drag-multi system, which can conduct independent soft, hard start and stop operation or to control orderly soft start and stop operation as well as real-time checking about operation parameters for two or multiple high voltage motor.

Design on basis of the third generation of digital microprocessor, having functions of controlling, comprehensive motor protection and analog soft, hard output.

RS485 or CAN communication interface (sharing Modbus/ peofibus protocol), realize the comprehensive control (order such as soft start and soft stop, double control) and control 32 at most soft starter through STP by one main machine.

Main technical parameters

AC soft start part of soft starter takes anti-parallel several group thyristors as silicon controlled module, whose core part adopts thyristors from ABB company. In the process of starting, the controllable users ask the preset curve to have self-control for motor ensuring to complete smooth and reliable starting by starter. After starting process, on and off state of AC contactor is controlled by adjuster and all the controllable silicon is shorted out, then make the motor operate in power system under total pressure.
