The ZL20-7/750 direct current locomotive adopts resistance, chopping and variable frequency. The 762mm and the 900mm can be adopted. It has three braking modes: electric resistance, mechanical parking and compressing air. The JE-7 air breaking machine is adopts, it not only is able to stop and slow the locomotive but also the hanging part, which makes the locomotive safe in operation, it also provides the compressed air used to dumping of the self-dumping car.

The driving room is located in the center of the locomotive, the high pressure room and the mechanical room is located on the front and the back, the driver’s room is air-conditioned, providing a comfortable driving environment.
